If you love a wild, natural style, full of interesting flowers, foliage and textures, you’ve come to the right place. At Wild Rosamund we choose only the best British-grown seasonal, local flowers and foliage to go into our wedding designs – we don’t import anything, unless it has special significance to you. We forage locally for free botanical treasures too, giving your flowers a real flavour of the season and a depth of interest you won’t find anywhere else.

Come and have a free, informal chat at our Wild Rosamund studio in Impington, just outside Cambridge, or we can come to your venue*. For couples with busy lives we also offer convenient, online consultations. We know how many appointments planning a wedding involves and that your time is precious.

At your free, no-obligation consultation you’ll have the opportunity to talk through your vision with us and, if you need inspiration, we’re always happy to make suggestions and show you our portfolio of work. We understand the importance of your budget so we always try to work respectfully within it and make suggestions about how best to spend it and where, or warn you if we think something is out of your price range. Whether you’re after an elaborate celebration or an intimate gathering, you can be sure of the most beautiful wedding flowers just right for you, based on our 16 years’ experience in the industry.

OUR SERVICES

Because we usually take on just one wedding per day, we have a minimum spend of £1,500 if you want your wedding flowers delivered and set-up for you. This is because it takes roughly the same amount of planning and preparation time for every wedding, regardless of budget, so it isn’t financially viable for us to take on smaller events. We hope you understand.

If you have a smaller budget, we are still happy to provide your flowers but ask you or a designated person, to collect them – packed and ready to go – from our studio in Impington to set up yourselves.

CREATED & COLLECTED SERVICE

Budgets under £1,500

With this service, at your free consultation, simply describe the colour palette, style of flowers you like and what items you want and we’ll choose the most beautiful seasonal British flowers and foliage to recreate the look and feel you love. All you have to do is collect your flowers on the day, sign a form saying you are happy with them, and simply place them yourselves.

Perfect for couples who:

  • Are happy to leave flower choices to the experts
  • Are confident they have reliable friends and family to place flowers for them
  • Have limited budget and want to make the most of it
  • Are happy to return hired items themselves afterwards

You can also use this service for budgets above £1,500, provided you have a big enough vehicle to carry everything.

DESIGNED & DELIVERED SERVICE

£1,500 or more flower budget, plus delivery, set-up and collection charges*

As with our Created & Collected service, at your free consultation, simply describe the colour palette and style of flowers you like and what items you want and we’ll choose the most beautiful seasonal British flowers and foliage to recreate the look and feel you love. We’ll also liaise with your venue(s) and other suppliers to work out delivery schedules. On the day, we’ll pack, deliver and set-up everything from bouquets to buttonholes, church to cake flowers at your chosen venue(s), leaving you to relax and enjoy getting ready. The day after, we’ll collect any hired items and remove your flowers too, if you want us to. Or we’ll just take the hired items, leaving your floral designs for you, your friends and families to enjoy for longer.

  • Are happy to leave flower choices to the experts
  • Have busy lives and like the peace of mind of knowing every aspect of their flowers is being dealt with
  • Have a budget that has room for extra services
  • Don’t want the stress of clearing up and returning items the day after

This service cannot be used for budgets below £1,500.

HOW WE WORK

STEP 1: ARE WE AVAILABLE?

Check our availability by emailing us to find out whether we’re available on your chosen date. We are? Hooray!

STEP 2: NAME THE DATE

For a free, no-obligation consultation, book a date and time that suits you from our online calendar. We offer limited evening and weekend slots too. Before your consultation, we’ll send you a form to complete and return with your wedding details. This information helps us plan in advance, curating images from our portfolio to show you. It also ensures we understand your vision, budget and any logistical details and often makes the consultation process much quicker.

STEP 3: HAVE A CHAT WITH US

Consultation time! This takes approximately an hour and is your opportunity to tell us in more detail what you’d like from your wedding flowers. We’ll look at colours, floral styles, specific designs and any images you’ve collected, eg Pinterest boards, as well as discussing vase or other prop hire. We’ll listen carefully to your ideas and advise whether they’re suitable for your venue and budget. Don’t worry if you have no clue what you want. Flowers are our thing, and, after 16 years, we’re pretty good at suggesting options or teasing out of you what you want, even if you think you don’t know yourself!

What we don’t do

The only thing we don’t allow is for you to choose specific flower types or varieties. You can request them by all means and we’ll do our best to include them but we can never guarantee them. British flowers don’t understand calendars and the UK weather does what it likes when it likes, so we never guarantee specific blooms will be available at the time of your wedding. What we can guarantee though is that, with our years of experience, we’ll create the floral style you love in your favourite colour palette with our choice of blooms we’re sure you’ll love too.

STEP 4: WE'LL QUOTE YOU

Based on our discussions, we’ll draw up a formal quote for you. We do it one of two ways, depending on your preference. It could be your dream wish list with everything you want and we quote you a price for it all. Or, after discussing your wish list, it could be scaled-down versions to make sure you keep within your allocated spend.

On receiving your quote, if you decide our price right for you, great, we’re in business! If not, we offer two more rounds of revisions free of charge. After that, we charge £35 for each subsequent quote to cover our admin time.

STEP 5: ALL BOOKED IN

Once you’re happy with the quote and have decided Wild Rosamund is your perfect match, we take a non-refundable booking fee of 10% of the quote total to secure our services for your date and to cover the cost of our time preparing the quote. We also ask you to read, complete, sign and return our Event Flowers & Decor Agreement, which is our terms and conditions. Once we’ve received both the non-refundable booking fee and the form, your booking is confirmed. If, after this, you decide to use a different supplier for your flowers, the booking fee will not be refunded.

STEP 6: CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

We know any number of things can change in wedding plans so we’re flexible. After you’ve confirmed our services, there’s still time to make alterations to your flower order and revise the quote if necessary. However, we ask that your budget does not drop below 75% of the original accepted quote, otherwise we’re doing more admin work for a smaller fee.

STEP 7: ALL CONFIRMED

Six weeks to go. Your wedding is not far off! We’ll get in touch again to confirm details such as quantities, delivery addresses, times and venue access. Then, no later than four weeks before the date of your wedding, it’s time to pay the balance of your quote, minus your original non-refundable booking fee. If you are hiring items from us, at this time we also take a refundable £100 security deposit and ask you to complete a form with your bank details to refund the deposit to afterwards.

STEP 8: YOUR DAY, BUT OUT OF YOUR WAY

On the day of your wedding, we’ll quietly install your dream flowers while you’re getting ready. All you’ll see of us is when we turn up to deliver your bouquets or buttonholes in person with a big smile to wish you well!

STEP 9: THE DAY AFTER

If you hire any items and have paid for us to collect them, we will return to take them away from your venue(s) and clean them for you, leaving you with just your flowers and memories of a wonderful day. Once we’ve checked and cleaned the items, we will refund your £100 security deposit. If any items are lost we give you seven days to locate them before deducting the cost of these items from the security deposit. For damaged or broken items, we take the value of these items from the deposit immediately, before refunding it.
